If you are planning a visit to Highland Perthshire you are welcome to visit the studio by appointment (An hours notice is appreciated).

In the spring of 2023 I relocated to Pitlochry in Perthshire, Scotland.

Directions:

Near the centre of Pitlochry turn off Atholl Road up Bonnethill Road. After 100m turn right into Toberargan Road, fork left and you'll see 29 Toberargan Road on your left just before the junction with Higher Oakfield. The neighbour is Croft na Coillie B&B and up on the little hill across the road is Knochendarroch Hotel.

Jill and I moved to Comrie near Loch Earn in Perthshire in 2003. Now in 2023 Jill and I have separated amicably to explore new phases of our lives :-) Jill remains in Comrie whilst I'm starting a new chapter in Pitlochry.
























Comrie Flambeaux Procession

Comrie is host to the famous Hogmanay Flambeaux Procession. Every Hogmanay, the residents of Comrie don fancy dress and set off on a procession accompanied by the Comrie Pipe Band. Led by bearers of flaming torches the procession marches the streets to the four points of the compass to ward off evil spirits.

Comrie Walks

Accommodation in Comrie provides ideal access to the munros Ben Vorlich, Stuc a Chroin and Ben Chonzie. For the more adventurous Ben Lawers and the Ptarmigan Ridge are amongst some of the mountains which can easily be reached. The surrounding area also provides many local walks and cycle routes from the door. Glen Artney and Glen Lednock rise from Comrie and Glen Turret starts from above Crieff. Details of local walks are freely available for guests at Rossal.
